New opportunities in PPDR communications
In September 2025, Pro-M Zrt. became a member of the GSMA, the global organization that unites the entire mobile ecosystem. The GSMA represents over 1,000 mobile operators and enterprises worldwide, fostering innovation, technological advancement, and the reduction of inequalities across the mobile industry.
The GSMA supports its members in three main areas: Connectivity for Good, Industry Solutions, and Events. Through these pillars, it promotes positive regulatory frameworks, interoperability, and global collaboration within the mobile technology sector. Its global events provide unique opportunities to build and strengthen relationships across the mobile ecosystem and related industries.
Membership enables Pro-M to stay at the forefront of emerging technology trends, leverage cross-industry collaboration, and integrate global best practices and expertise into its services. By joining the GSMA as an Operator Member, Pro-M becomes the first European PPDR (Public Protection and Disaster Relief) service provider to gain access to the GSMA’s professional knowledge base and industry resources. This will allow the company to further enhance and develop its mission-critical services, supporting nationwide public safety and emergency communications.
